End-of-Year Yoga Retreat

11-13 December 2026: Hemel & Aarde Valley, Hermanus

The Retreat Venue

Nestled in a secluded corner of the breathtaking Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Volmoed is a sanctuary of nature, silence, and stillness.

Set within its own peaceful 130-hectare valley of indigenous fynbos, surrounded by mountains and pristine landscapes, this unique retreat centre offers the perfect environment to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.

Just 90 minutes from Cape Town, Volmoed invites you into a world of tranquillity, where the beauty of nature becomes an integral part of the retreat experience. The gentle Onrus River flows through the valley from the surrounding mountains, creating waterfalls, natural rock pools, and secluded spaces for reflection, meditation, and renewal.

Here, fresh country air, wide open spaces, and the quiet rhythm of nature create a deeply restorative atmosphere. The landscape itself encourages you to slow down, breathe deeply, and become present in the moment.

During your yoga and meditation retreat at Volmoed, this peaceful sanctuary becomes a space for inner renewal and transformation. Through yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and quiet reflection, you will have the opportunity to restore balance, nurture your wellbeing, and reconnect with the deeper parts of yourself.

At Volmoed, nature is not simply the backdrop – it is part of the journey. A place to pause, reflect, and return home refreshed in body, mind, and spirit.
